ABOUT 42' MAVERICK SPORTFISH

We are proud to offer our guests the opportunity to fish aboard the famous Maverick fleet of top performing tournament champion boats. We offer all boats in the Maverick fleet from the famous Spanish Fly with Capt. Daniel Espinosa, to the Super Fly, Dragin Fly, The Bite, and Gunsmoke.

 

The precision crafted Maverick Sportfishing fleet is world known for their crafstmanship and unique abilites to raise and hold record numbers of Billfish. You'll find one or more Maverick boats placing in the top 5 of every Los Suenos fishing tournement!

 

These boats are for serious anglers only whose fishing priorities are focused more on performance and numbers of fish caught, than budget and price. As the most sought after and booked boats in the Los Suneos fleet, these boats book full for high season(January-May) and we suggest you Contact Us to make your reservations as far in advance as possible for a chance at getting on board one of these top boats.

  • Customary 15-20% gratuity for your Captain & Crew to share. Presented to your Captain at the end of your day.
  • Costa Rica Fishing License. Purchased on your 1st day of fishing at the dock entrance from the on site INCOPESCA rep. $30 per person paid is cash only USD or CRC. License is valid for 1 month.

What to Bring

Suggested things to bring with you on your Fishing Charter

 

  • Sunblock (50SPF or higher)
  • Sunglasses
  • Shorts/T-Shirt
  • Sneakers or Boat shoes
  • Ball cap or your lucky fishing hat
  • Hand Towel
  • Still and or Video Camera w/fully charged battery
  • Extra Cash for 15-20% crew gratuity
  • Patience and a positive attitude. :-)

 

Things NOT to Bring

 

  • Dark bottom or hard bottom soled shoes that leave scuff marks on white decks
  • Heels or dress shoes
  • Glass bottles or containers of any kind.

 

** Sea Sickness Prevention**

While we are fortunate that the nearshore waters and Offshore waters here are usaully very calm year-round, if you feel that any member of your party might be suseptable to sea sickness, it is recommended that they take a Dramamine or other anti-sea sickness pill before bed the night before going fishing, and then again in the morning after eating something and BEFORE getting on the boat.
